Blissful Bumps

A weekly Pregnancy yoga & Realaxation class for mum-to-be designed to support you through your pregnancy.

Each week we combine gentle pregnancy yoga based movement with breathing exercises, hypnobirthing & mindfulness techniques to help you feel relaxed, confident & prepared for your upcoming birth.

Reason #1 To join a Blissful Bumps - Pregnancy Yoga & Hypnobirthing Relaxation Class:  Taking time each week to relax & unwind

Growing a new human is hard work .  It's stressful! It's exhausting!... & you (the amazing person that you are ) are balancing all of that, with normal day to day life. 

Maybe you have a busy career?  Piles of laundry?  Or little ones at home to look after? 

But do you ever step back?  Take time for yourself?  Find quiet moments to bond with your beautiful bump? & the fabulous new baby growing within?

The good news is that my weekly Mums only classes can give you the welcoming, low adrenalin space for all of the above & more.

Taking the time each week, to learn breathing & self hypnosis techniques to quiet your mind & bring a sense of calm and peace to your busy life. This allows you to feel confident, well rested, prepared & (dare I say...) even excited for your birthing day.

Reason #2 To join a Blissful Bumps Pregnancy Yoga & Hypnobirthing Relaxation Class: Reducing & preventing your pregnancy ailments

How are you feeling? Sore back? Pelvic Pain? Heartburn / Nausea? Swollen hands, legs & feet? Insomnia? Sciatica?

In my Blissful Bumps classes we use easy & gentle yoga based movement to reduce or avoid all of these common pregnancy ailments and more.

You don't have to be super stretchy, and no prior yoga experience is required.  All of the movements are easy to learn, adaptable for different abilities or medical conditions & will leave you feeling great throughout the rest of your pregnancy & birth

Reason #3 To join a Blissful Bumps - Pregnancy Yoga & Hypnobirthing Relaxation Class: Finding your Mum Tribe

Although it can be amazing; parenting can also be a confusing, stressful & sometimes lonely job.

How great would it be to find friends who are experiencing all the same adjustments as you at the same time?

Friends who are also preparing for their positive birth, and who will be awake in the early hours to chat to during those frequent night feeds once babies are here.

If you join my Blissful Bumps classes. Not only will you get to know each other well during all of sessions that you spend together. But I also facilitate class and wider community WhatsApp groups so you'll always have a way to stay in touch.

You will also be invited to stay a while after each class if you wish, for a cuppa and a natter to start building those all important connections.

Each class lasts 1 hour and includes:

  • Pregnancy yoga based movement

  • Biomechanics for birth

  • Breathing & relaxation techniques 

  • Mindfulness practice 

  • Guided meditation/hypnobirthing

  • Recorded Hypnobirthing tracks for you to listen to at home 

  • An optional cuppa & natter at the end of class

  • Support from me when you need it via whatsapp

  • 40 minutes of calming movement and 20 minutes of restful relaxation.

When and Where:  

  • Tuesdays 7:30pm to 8:30pm (or 9pm if you want to stay for a cuppa & socialising after class) - Upper Saxondale Community Hall, 3 Serpentine Close, Radcliffe-on-Trent NG12 2NS

  • Thursdays 7:30pm to 8:30pm (or 9pm if you want to stay for a cuppa & socialising after class) - The Reading Room, Barrowby, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG32 1BX

Classes can be booked in 6 week blocks for £63 or you can attend on a Pay As You Go basis at £12 per week - giving you lots of flexibility.  

This antenatal course is suitable to start from any time after your dating scan all the way up to birth and you can attend as many blocks/classes as you like throughout this time.

The classes are great for everyone no matter if this is your 1st or 5th pregnancy and no matter the type of birth you are planning.

These mums only antenatal classes are absolutely fantastic as a stand alone course.  But they work amazingly when combined with my weekly Bite-Size Birth - Active Birth education classes (which can be attended alone or alongside your partner). Or my Birth to Baby - Comprehensive birth and newborn care preparation course
